Over almost 20 years, my legacy is Made in Germany.  

I spent over a decade learning and perfecting my technique. Freeing myself from trying to fit into a box (genre), I became proficient in multiple genres. I learnt to photograph extraordinary moments that take place during our ordinary days. Be it Street Photography or Landscapes, my work has been appreciated and acclaimed. 

Clean and Classy, in a world where there is too much of everything, the images strike a balance between being visually appealing through simplicity, yet interesting to hold the attention of the viewer, to explore the stories and moods conveyed.

I offer a limited number of Workshops every year, the selection criteria being your level of passion and commitment to undertake the journey of self discovery. This has proven to help unleash your unique creativity/style through your own works. Get in touch, let’s discuss.

I own and shoot with an extensive collection of Leica cameras and lenses which are part of the Workshops I offer. My equipment is in a bank locker, I will extract the pieces agreed upon for the workshops.

Workshop 1: 

Duration: 2.5 Days (Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday)*

Program: Fast start towards your goals.

Friday afternoon - meet and discuss the genres that inspire you as well as your goals, over a good coffee.

We will identify the appropriate equipment needed to create the photographs you desire.

I will extract the pieces agreed upon, so you can spend Friday familiarizing yourself with the focal lengths by shooting various motifs as we walk around.

Saturday all day - we focus on the styles you want to grow into, travel to places for suitable subjects and spend the whole day shooting images while discussing techniques.

Sunday morning - we meet for breakfast and exchange impressions on the progress so far. We then proceed to shoot more photographs.

Sunday afternoon till evening - we upload all the images you've captured so far and discuss the Editing process to your taste. Editing is the art of bringing out the story from a photograph and is a skill just as important as being able to shooting an interesting frame.

Equipment: Included in the price, for the entire duration of the workshop, you will have access to the following equipment

In case an OVF/EVF is needed, I will also provide the Frankenfinder (framelines 16-18-21-24-28), EVF for the M24x series cameras as well as the Visoflex EVF for the M10x series cameras.

L Mount: Leica 18-56, Leica 24-90, Leica 50/1.4, Leica 90-280.

Workshop 2: 

Duration: 5 Days (Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun)*

Program: Deep Dive into the different genres.

The program above plus deep dives into the genre(s) you want to grow into. We will travel to suitable locations, travel costs are included even if it’s another city we will go to, by car. 

Equipment: Included in the price, for the entire duration of the workshop, you will have access to the following equipment

The entire range of Summilux-M lenses (21/f1.4, 24/f1,4, 28/f1.4, 50/f1.4 as well as the 75/f1.4)

As well as the Noctilux 50/f0.95 and 50/f1.0

Cost: €3,500

Workshop 3: 

Duration: 2 Weekends and select hours for the week in-between*

Program: Mastering the different genres.

The program above plus how to free yourself from the traps of thinking only in one genre. Looking across the genre(s) you want to grow into, and capturing different styles in the same day. We will travel to suitable locations, travel costs are included even if it’s another country we will go to, by car. 

Equipment: Included in the price, for the entire duration of the workshop, you will have access to the following equipment

All the equipment made available for Workshops 1 and 2, plus the following rare and exotic lenses:

For what I charge, just the cost of renting a few items of the equipment made available to you already exceeds the cost of the workshops. Please do not bargain, I am not interested in wasting my time or yours.

You will need to bring a laptop (preferably a MacBook) with Lightroom installed, an external hard disk, comfortable footwear as there will be a lot of walking involved and clothing appropriate for the season.

NOTE:

My equipment is in a bank locker. I will extract the pieces agreed upon for the workshops, so the earlier you confirm, the more time I have to prepare for your successful workshop.
